Stephen Newton named Global Leader in Consulting

We’re extremely proud to announce that our founder and managing partner, Stephen Newton, has been recognised as a Global Leader in Consulting by Consulting magazine. One of only 25 on the 2019 list, he’s also been noted for ‘Excellence in Influence’.

The annual awards honour the individuals who have displayed outstanding leadership qualities and exert extraordinary influence in their firms, for their clients and over the entire management consulting industry. An international award, the leaders have been chosen because they are not only making a huge impact in the profession, but their initiative is exemplary and can be felt worldwide.

On his award, Stephen said:

“I am humbled to be recognised by Consulting magazine in this way and would like to extend my thanks to the judges. I don’t believe in celebrating individual success, I’ve achieved this because of the incredible talent on the Elixirr team, the strong relationships we have built globally with our clients, and across our entire innovation ecosystem. This is an award for Elixirr, not an award for me. That is what makes me the proudest.”

He continued:

A true entrepreneur, Stephen started (and failed!) three businesses before finding success with Elixirr. Because of this, he is passionate about supporting and empowering entrepreneurs, and has built Elixirr around this principle. We’re famous for our entrepreneurial spirit – many of our team have gone on to start their own successful businesses, some funded by Elixirr Capital.

Now celebrating its tenth year, Stephen has grown Elixirr to a team of 140+ people, delivered £100m+ in revenue, a CAGR of 33% and a strong presence in the UK, Africa and the USA. Elixirr have delivered over 800 projects for large organisations across multiple industries in over 25 countries. He has one very clear vision for Elixirr: to be the best consulting firm in the world. Stephen’s ambition and energy are inspiring, and team Elixirr is united around his vision.

The 25 Global Leaders in Consulting were formally recognised at Consulting magazine’s gala awards dinner on Thursday, December 5 in London. The 2019 Global Leaders were recognised for excellence in one of four categories — Innovation, Influence, Execution, and Engagement.
