KAAPA partners with Elixirr to drive enterprise transformation and unlock future growth

We partnered with KAAPA Ethanol, one of Nebraska’s leading ethanol producers, to build a unified culture across its fast-growing business.

Over two decades, the company has scaled from a single plant with 35 employees to a multi-site operation employing over 180 people across five locations. Much of this growth came through acquisitions, each bringing new teams and ways of working. While scale was achieved in production, leadership recognised that true growth would only come from fostering collaboration across its plants and building ‘One KAAPA.’

Working closely with the leadership team and employees, we led an enterprise transformation programme – starting with a full cultural assessment, followed by quick-win projects to embed new behaviours and collaboration across teams. These projects gave employees who might not otherwise have had the chance to contribute a platform to shape change, identify new leaders and drive impact.

The results speak for themselves:

– 90% six-month retention, a 50% improvement since the launch of the Keystone project

– 10 internal promotions in just 18 months
