To push the limits of innovation, a leading Formula 1 team needed a system built for complexity and speed. They teamed up with Elixirr to overhaul their project management for Digital Engineering Transformation (DET). We built a new Target Operating Model (TOM) and a dynamic project management playbook to boost efficiency and standardise workflows – ensuring smoother project delivery to keep them ahead in the high-speed motorsport arena.
Facing increasingly complex engineering projects, the Formula 1 team needed a robust, scalable system to manage their initiatives efficiently and maintain a competitive edge in innovation and speed.
We worked hand-in-hand with the team to create a TOM tailored for the DET environment. Alongside the TOM, we developed a detailed project management playbook filled with clear processes, methodologies and best practices, ensuring teams could collaborate seamlessly and deliver projects on time.
The new TOM and playbook standardised project management across the organisation. Projects were completed faster, risks were minimised and cross-team collaboration improved dramatically, arming the team with the tools needed to manage complex engineering projects and drive greater victories on the track.
