In an era where digital collaboration tools are pivotal, Autodesk sought to revolutionise how architects, engineers and construction professionals work together. To support the BETA launch of its cloud-based software platform, Autodesk aimed to drive traffic to a dedicated landing page, raise awareness and gather valuable user insights prior to the commercial release.
Autodesk’s primary objective was to attract professionals aged 45-64 in English-speaking countries, including the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The goal was to engage specific user personas such as AEC firm specialists, technical leaders and BIM managers. This marked Autodesk’s first significant investment in paid media, necessitating a strategic approach to maximise return on investment.
Collaborating closely with Autodesk and its partner agency, our team devised a comprehensive paid social media strategy. We identified LinkedIn and Facebook as the optimal platforms to reach the target audience. The campaign featured a diverse mix of ad formats, including carousel ads, videos, and static images, tailored to each platform’s strengths. We also implemented multi-device targeting to ensure seamless engagement across all user touchpoints.
The campaign yielded remarkable results. Initially, we achieved a 56.9% decrease in CPA and a 40% increase in CTR. By the following month, lead volume had risen by 24%, and Facebook’s CPA further reduced to an average of $14.41. These outcomes not only surpassed Autodesk’s expectations but also provided critical insights to inform the upcoming commercial launch.
