What you will be doing as IT Operations Analyst at Elixirr?
- Installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
- Support and troubleshoot all end user issues
- Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure
- Provide first-line (L1) support for end users - support and troubleshoot end-user issues across devices, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
- Manage and maintain UK office IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, meeting room tech, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and decommissioning user accounts, devices, and access rights
- Develop, build, and deploy new solutions and technology as needed
- Support network infrastructure in the UK office, including switches, Wi-Fi access points, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Participate in IT projects, as directed, including system upgrades, migrations, and rollout of new tools and technologies
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and data protection standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes and user experience
- Provide basic training and guidance to users to improve digital literacy and reduce recurring issues
Competencies and skillset we expect you to have to successfully perform your job:
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and experience with Cisco and/or Ubiquiti (Unifi) equipment is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user management, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint basics)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general end-user application support
- Understanding of hardware support (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals)
- Experience working with ticketing or service desk systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to issue resolution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users effectively
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation and process adherence
- Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset
