Matt Gorman

Matt has extensive financial services experience, having operated at the C-suite level within banks, funds, and investment businesses throughout his career. His expertise spans digital transformation, technology, multi-layered TOM design while delivering client-centric solutions and products.

Prior to joining Elixirr, Matt developed and designed a Digital Bank for a global financial company, driving digitisation into the corporate market and creating new, multi-million-dollar revenue streams. He has also designed the TOM for two offshore banks, defining numerous new propositions, including product distribution and technology environments that delivered double-digit growth while exceeding client satisfaction targets. Matt spent six years at Standard Bank Offshore, acting as COO for four years. He drove the cybersecurity, technology, and change strategy. Matt was responsible for an ambitious, fast-moving change agenda delivering extensive programmes including core banking transformations, new product channels, innovative technology, critical cybersecurity initiatives, and regulatory projects, including GDPR. He is passionate about innovation and new ways of working, having sponsored a digital innovation hub framework, enabling new ideas across multiple jurisdictions resulting in a programme of transformation initiatives delivering high ROI.
