Bob Skinstad Partner Based in London Bob is a former professional rugby player turned entrepreneur and broadcaster. He represented the South African national team, the Springboks, as a captain and was part of the team to win the 2007 Rugby World Cup. He has also spent the past 20 years of his career working across a multitude of industries in the UK, South Africa, and beyond, including advertising, media, sports and technology. In 2015 Bob joined venture capital firm Knife Capital and co-founded KNF Ventures Fund I & II. During this time, he advised businesses across a wide range of industries, and ultimately began making business investments of his own, building out his expertise across sectors. He has stayed in the broadcast environment and hasn’t missed a Rugby World Cup yet. Bob brings a unique background to Elixirr, utilising the skills and traits developed as a professional athlete and team leader to become a successful entrepreneur and businessman. He has been consulting in sports, tech and payment and the nexus of the three, and joined Elixirr to not only serve a large and curated network, but also be part of a wider team with deep experience and ability.
