Elixirr Legal Counsel Job Description

Elixirr (www.elixirr.com) is looking for a commercial lawyer to support Elixirr’s General Counsel and Associate General Counsel and the Elixirr Group’s business internationally.

Elixirr International plc is listed on AIM following its successful IPO in July 2020.  The Elixirr business provides management consultancy services to corporate clients in many jurisdictions including the UK, EU, USA, South Africa and Australia. Its consulting business operates through a UK company, Elixirr Consulting and a US company, Elixirr LLC.  In addition, Elixirr offers creative and digital marketing services through its UK subsidiaries Den Creative and Coast Digital and transformational procurement services through its UK subsidiary the Retearn Group.

Elixirr prides itself on doing things differently and has positioned itself as the Challenger Consultancy.  It is expanding its business through inorganic and organic growth.  Elixirr has completed two acquisitions since its IPO and has several potential targets in its acquisition pipeline.

You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, particularly engagement and services contracts with Elixirr Group clients and suppliers.  You will work closely with Elixirr Partners to support them with their client engagements and, from time to time, with external lawyers (in the UK and internationally).  You will also work with the Elixirr Operations team on internal matters such as commercial contracts, employment related contracts, share option arrangements, policies and data protection.

You will work closely with Elixirr’s General Counsel and Associate General Counsel but must be confident to operate independently in consultation with the General Counsel or Associate General Counsel.  The right candidate will have the ambition to develop into a more senior role with specific responsibilities within the Elixirr Group.

You will also be involved in acquisitions of new businesses as part of Elixirr’s growth strategy.

The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, commercial, entrepreneurial and unfazed by challenges, and must have strong written and oral communication and drafting skills, good attention to detail and be able to exercise sound pragmatic judgement.

The position is based in Elixirr’s London office.

We love what we do and we’re growing fast. So fast in fact, we’ve just been listed as one of the fastest-growing consulting firms in the US.* If you’re looking for an opportunity with a firm that’s going places, you’ve just found it.

We firmly believe that entrepreneurialism is a state of mind. This means we hire to an exceptionally high talent bar. Intellect isn’t a differentiator. Being a self-starter, willing to get stuck in, deliver the best possible work, is. We only hire people with bags of ambition, and the energy and passion that comes with wanting to build a business, not just work for one.

We’re building a business together – for ourselves, and for our clients. This is how we make the really difficult stuff happen. (Or #MSH).

Sound appealing? You’ll fit in well. Apply today. We’d love to meet you.

*Oh, and by the way, if you'd like the detail, we've been listed as the fastest-growing consulting firm in the UK and the third fastest-growing in Europe by the FT, and the 56th fastest-growing consulting firm by Consulting magazine. And we're pretty damn proud of that...
