Emiko Caerlewy-Smith

Em is a financial services strategy and innovation leader with over 20 years of experience helping organisations drive transformation across the financial sector. With a PhD in Behavioural Economics from the University of Oxford, she combines academic insight with strategic advisory expertise and deep industry knowledge.

Her experience spans pensions, banking, private equity, wealth and asset management, where she partners with institutions to evolve their business models, client experiences, propositions and cultures in response to market shifts and regulatory change.

Before joining Elixirr, Em held senior positions at PwC, Lloyds Bank and Barclays, where she served as COO for the bank’s £20bn wealth, corporate and retail banking and investment platform in the Channel Islands. In 2018, she founded KIT Consulting, a purpose-led management consultancy specialising in sustainable finance. The KIT team joined Elixirr in 2022 to help clients unlock opportunities for growth and transformation through sustainability-led innovation.

Em is a member of Elixirr’s Management Team and leads the firm’s global wealth and asset management capabilities. She also serves as Head of Investor Relations for Elixirr plc, driving engagement with the investment community and supporting the firm’s long-term growth strategy.
