Bill Michael

Bill has held senior leadership and governance roles in professional services since beginning his career as a Chartered Accountant. In 2005, Bill joined KPMG as Head of Financial Services Audit, before becoming Head of Financial Services UK in 2009. In 2015, he assumed the roles of Global Head of Banking and Capital Markets and EMA Head of Financial Services. In 2017, Bill became KPMG’s UK Chairman and Senior Partner.

Since leaving KPMG, Bill has undertaken a range of strategic advisory and board-level roles, supporting growth-focused consulting and financial services businesses. He has acted as an independent advisor to Elixirr since 2021, providing challenge and guidance to the Board and Partners on the Group’s growth strategy. Bill was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Elixirr International plc in January 2026.
