Nick Larsen’s career journey 

Partner, Nick Larsen’s career didn’t follow the traditional path to consulting leadership. He started out as a music major, but curiosity led him to study management information systems and launch his career at a Big Four Firm.  

A chance meeting with a friend in Dallas introduced him to the world of data and analytics – and to a firm where he could take on every role in the business. Over the years, Nick has been an engineer, an architect, tester, project manager and director of professional services. Each step gave him the experience to lead with perspective and confidence.  

Today, as a Partner, his approach hasn’t changed: ‘You do the job before it’s your job.’ That mindset has kept him focused on clients, delivery and impact long before the title came. The real difference now is being at the table to share strategy and direction at a global level.  

Nick’s advice for anyone building a career? Stay passionate, keep moving forward and never settle for the status quo.
