JTC, a publicly listed global professional services firm with expertise in fund, corporate and private client services, sought a comprehensive website overhaul to improve usability, optimize lead generation functionality and align with modern design trends.

The challenge
The JTC website needed a refresh to enhance its design, improve navigation and optimize lead-generation to support the company’s ambitious organic growth targets. Additionally, as several of JTC’s services had grown and evolved, the website also needed a redesign to better reflect current market trends and enhance the overall user experience (UX), user interface (UI) and functionality.
To address these needs, a comprehensive approach was necessary, including UX research to identify user requirements, UI design to improve navigation and accessibility and visual design to refresh the site’s aesthetics. Front-end and back-end development were essential to ensure smooth functionality, while strong project management was required to deliver a seamless, on-time transformation.
The approach
The services we provided included UX research, web design, web development, basic SEO and Google Analytics setup for launch, with a marketing retainer to support ongoing optimization post-launch.
UX research and discovery
The UX phase was crucial in gaining a deep understanding of the client’s business. We conducted stakeholder kick-offs, outside-in research, website polls, data reviews and remote interviews, gathering valuable insights that informed the entire redesign process.
Design and development
With the insights from the UX research, we moved on to the UI design, which included the application of refreshed visual language. Our design focused on creating a simpler, more intuitive user experience to improve usability across the site. Following the design phase, front-end and back-end development made sure the site was functional, responsive and seamless across devices.
Addressing content gaps
During the development phase, we identified a gap in content that couldn’t be automatically exported or imported to the new site. This presented an opportunity to collaborate with the JTC team to assist with loading specific website content. The work was tracked as part of the marketing retainer, ensuring we stayed on schedule for the web launch.
Meeting client expectations
Throughout the project, we maintained regular status updates and review sessions, both internally and with our client. JTC set ambitious standards for quality, delivery and timing, and we worked closely with them to meet – and exceed – these expectations throughout the UX, UI and build phases.
Ongoing support and future growth
Following the launch, a marketing retainer was implemented to ensure continuous growth and optimization. This not only confirmed the success of the work completed up to that point but also reinforced the strength of our partnership.
The value delivered
From a web design and build perspective, the website is much more user friendly and engaging. It’s immediately clear when you land on the website what the JTC Group offers. The site navigation is much simpler, and this helps to optimize specific CTAs, including lead generation.
When we started this process, we were looking for a partner that could help take our digital presence (and digital marketing more widely) to another level. Based on the feedback I’ve received to date, as well as using and reflecting on the site, we have met that goal.
