With the deprecation of third-party cookies reshaping digital advertising, our client – a global leader in the technology space – sought to cement its role as a pioneer of privacy-first identity solutions. We created a thought leadership platform that codified best practices, spotlighted success stories, and positioned the client at the forefront of the evolving digital ecosystem.

The context

The challenge

As major browsers began phasing out third-party cookies, the digital advertising industry faced a profound disruption. Our client had developed a next-generation identity solution offering transparency, interoperability, and consumer control. To drive adoption and position itself as a pioneer of a privacy-first Internet, the client needed a credible, insight-led narrative that could guide the industry through this shift and encourage uptake of new identity frameworks across global markets.

Despite the clear urgency, industry understanding of the future of identity remained fragmented. Our client needed to cut through the noise with an authoritative platform that codified best practices, shared global insights and illustrated real-world success stories. The goal was not just to advocate for the identity solution, but to inspire broader confidence in privacy-centric identity models – and cement the client’s leadership in the rapidly evolving digital advertising ecosystem.

The approach

We conducted qualitative interviews with advertising and brand leaders across the US, Canada, Singapore, and Australia to gather rich insights on evolving identity strategies. To embed the client’s unique perspective, we also interviewed their Chief Strategy Officer. Synthesizing these insights, we produced a flagship thought leadership report combining global trends, actionable frameworks and case studies. To amplify the impact, we developed executive talking points for major events and designed a follow-up newsletter to nurture engagement with key stakeholders and maintain momentum.

The impact

The thought leadership platform elevated the client’s position at the heart of the industry’s identity conversation. The report became a go-to resource for brands and agencies navigating the cookieless transition, reinforcing the client’s credibility and accelerating adoption of the identity solution. The frameworks and case studies provided practical roadmaps for marketers globally, while the executive narratives helped the client’s leadership team deliver a consistent, future-focused message across conferences, media appearances and ongoing industry engagements.
