Academy requires all participants to commit to 8 hours each working day. It’s a short but impactful program designed to kick-start your IT career in just 8 weeks.

We want participants to experience the real working environment at Elixirr, which is why our Academy is held onsite in the Rijeka and/or Cape Town offices.

Data & AI track

Learn about the newest trends in data engineering focused on AWS and become a data engineer who knows how to collect, transform and analyse data in the cloud.

This course is designed for motivated individuals with a foundational knowledge of SQL and/or Python, who are eager to learn modern principles and best practices for data manipulation using cutting-edge technologies in AWS. The curriculum covers cloud solution architecture, data storage and data processing in the AWS environment.

No previous experience needed

The Academy is designed for entry-level individuals looking to expand their basic technical knowledge. If you are an ambitious, motivated, and problem-solving team player with an interest in technical studies, this program is for you. No prior diplomas, qualifications, or experience are required.

How do I apply?

Your CV is required because we want to get to know you better! We would like to see your educational background, any previous work experience you might have. Any additional courses you’ve had or projects that you have done during or outside your studies. Maybe you are not a student at the moment, but a self-taught developer aiming to make their way into the IT industry – share your Github and let us see what you are working on.

Besides your CV, we have added some screening questions to the application form. Sometimes it is hard to tell from a CV alone about your main interests, expectations, and plans for the future, so we would appreciate your effort to tell us more.

How does the selection process look like?

To achieve and maintain the best quality of the program, the number of participants is limited. Therefore, we have a selection process to choose the best candidates.

The first stage of the selection process is a conversation with HR. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills and motivation. You should demonstrate a clear interest and explain why you think you would be a good fit for the Academy. Additionally, English speaking skills will also be assessed during this conversation.

The next step is an interview with our tech experts and HR. This interview aims to assess your previous knowledge and relevant tech skills to ensure you can keep up with the curriculum. Don’t worry—we are not looking for experts and you don’t need to have an answer to every question. Show us your thought process and motivation to learn, and we’re sure you’ll do great!

Are there any requirements?

Yes, requirements to enter the course: SQL basics, Python basics and English level B2 or higher.

I still haven't heard back after applying, what do I do?

We personally review every application that we receive, which means the process can take some time. If you haven’t heard from us yet, there’s no need to follow up—we will reach out if your application progresses to the next stage. While we understand this may be frustrating, please rest assured that every CV is carefully considered.
