Nick Greenwood

Nick leads the Private Equity practice, the firm’s work with asset managers and its IT M&A and TSA capability. He advises sponsors, portfolio company leadership and asset management executives on value creation, transformation and complex transactions, and has led separation and TSA programs on more than $12 billion of deals.

In private equity, his work runs from diligence through to value creation and turnaround. He previously led the turnaround of a PE-owned business, stabilizing the business, retaining a key customer and returning it to cashflow and EBITDA positive. The business was able to bring forward the delivery of product capabilities originally planned for the following two years. His teams are small, senior and embedded alongside management.

In asset management, he is leading an enterprise-wide AI transformation for a global asset manager, from target operating model to multi-year investment case and advising another on the future of its transfer agency. His domain expertise spans fund administration, transfer agency and operating model design.

Nick built our IT M&A and TSA capability from the ground up. He has led TSA programs on a $10 billion carve-out, a $2 billion acquisition and a $700 million carve-out, and built a 300-person TSA exit team that separated operations spanning 80 countries, 35,000 employees and 300 offices and factories.

He joined Elixirr in 2016 as an Analyst and rose through every rank to Partner.
