Chris Bannocks

Chris Bannocks has more than 30 years’ experience leading data, analytics and AI transformation across financial services, insurance and FMCG. A former Group Chief Data, Analytics and AI Officer at ING, Danone and QBE, he is known for turning ambitious data strategies into practical business outcomes.

He began his career at Credit Suisse before holding senior roles at Nomura and Barclays, later leading global data and AI programmes at ING, Danone and QBE. In these roles he built enterprise data capabilities, established AI governance and delivered transformation programmes that drove measurable commercial value.

Chris specialises in board-level data strategy, AI transformation and enterprise data governance. He works with executives and boards to design scalable data capabilities and implement responsible AI that drives growth and performance.

Alongside his executive career, Chris serves as a Non-Executive Director, Chair and adviser. At Elixirr, he helps clients harness data and AI to accelerate transformation and unlock sustainable competitive advantage.
