Pride Month 2021 saw news feeds around the world flood with rainbow logos and messages of solidarity from companies who took to their social channels to show their support. However does this solidarity translate into action for change? Perhaps not. In fact, Popular Information, found that 25 so-called ally corporations had actually spent over $10 million supporting anti-LGBTQ+ policies in recent years. A prime example of corporate Pinkwashing.

Companies must stop viewing D&I simply as a ‘marketing’ exercise and start looking inwards to create real change. But how?
