{"id":47836,"date":"2024-04-22T08:13:31","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T07:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.elixirr.com\/en-us\/?p=47836"},"modified":"2025-10-28T15:28:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T15:28:17","slug":"elixirr-announces-strong-results-for-fy23-as-revenue-grows-by-20-percent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elixirr.com\/en-us\/elixirr-announces-strong-results-for-fy23-as-revenue-grows-by-20-percent\/","title":{"rendered":"Elixirr announces strong results for FY23 as revenue grows by 20 percent\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Elixirr International plc (AIM:ELIX), the established, global award-winning challenger consultancy, announces its final results for the year ended 31st December 2023 which saw revenue of \u00a385.9 million, up 20 percent from the financial year 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Financial highlights include:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FY23 revenue increased +20% to \u00a385.9 million (FY22: \u00a371.7m)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjusted EBITDA increased +24% in absolute terms to \u00a325.4 million (FY22: \u00a320.5m)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FY23 adjusted EBITDA margin increased to 30% (FY22: 29%)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Underlying organic revenue growth was 15% YoY (net +\u00a310.4m revenue), with \u00a311.5m growth from existing clients and \u00a310.4m growth from new clients\u200b&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjusted diluted EPS increased +22% to 37.2p from FY 22 (30.5p)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free cash flow increased +11% to \u00a316.1m (FY22: \u00a314.6m)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-our-year-in-action\"><strong>Our Year In Action<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<section\n    class=\"wp-block-video \"\n    >\n    <div class=\"wp-block-video__container\">\n                            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside strong annual results, Elixirr also completed two successful acquisitions in 2023 to diversify its service offering and expand its global presence as the firm strives to become the best digital, data and AI consulting firm in the world. These included the organizational change and transformation firm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elixirr.com\/en-us\/2023\/12\/11\/elixirr-acquires-leading-global-consulting-firm-insigniam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Insigniam<\/a>, and the artificial intelligence firm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elixirr.com\/en-us\/2023\/09\/18\/https:\/\/www.elixirr.com\/en-us\/2025\/10\/13\/elixirr-acquires-generative-ai-company-responsum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Responsum<\/a>. We\u2019ve done this by significantly investing in growing markets such as AI, data, change and transformation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>We continue to pursue our ambition of becoming the best digital, data and AI consulting firm in the world, centered around the technology of tomorrow while maintaining our strategic acumen, boutique agility, and disruptive approach to consulting.\u201d<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Current Trading &amp; Outlook<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guidance of \u00a3104m &#8211; \u00a3110m revenue for FY24, at an adjusted EBITDA margin of 27% &#8211; 29%&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong start to FY24 with three record revenue months in Q1&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Given the track record of sustained profitability and cash generation, and in line with comparable companies, the Board has decided to declare two dividends per year, with an interim dividend payable shortly after the end of the financial year and a final dividend payable in August&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The second dividend for FY23 of \u00a34.5m, payable in August, will be funded from the Group\u2019s existing cash reserves \u2013 a total dividend increase of 37%&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Operating Highlights<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Average revenue per partner grew to \u00a33.9m (FY22: \u00a33.6m)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elixirr welcomed 7 new partners (excluding acquisitions), 4 of whom have been promoted from within&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed 2 great acquisitions which opened doors to new clients, markets and capabilities, and have generated significant growth potential:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Responsum: An artificial intelligence firm which has developed proprietary software, enabling Elixirr to support clients from strategy through to execution in the AI space. The AI industry is expected to grow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/1365145\/artificial-intelligence-market-size\/#:~:text=Global%20artificial%20intelligence%20market%20size%202021%2D2030&amp;text=According%20to%20Next%20Move%20Strategy,nearly%20two%20trillion%20U.S.%20dollars.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">twentyfold by 2030<\/a>, up to two trillion USD&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insigniam: A global firm of market leaders in organizational breakthrough, innovation and transformation for more than 35 years, with a presence in the US and Europe. Insigniam has strong networks in complementary industries where Elixirr has less of a presence: healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, retail and consumer packaged goods.
