We partnered with the client to redesign its commercial operating model end-to-end, from acquisition to retention. Within 18 months, the group moved from negative growth to gaining more than 700 net new customers per month.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outcome 1: Moved from losing customers and market share to gaining 700+ net new customers per month<\/li>\n<li>Outcome 2: Onboarding time reduced from 30+ days to as little as 2 days<\/li>\n<li>Outcome 3: 40%+ increase in website conversion to new customer applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section\n    class=\"wp-block-banner edwp-block layout--spacing-y bg--secondary wp-block-banner--content-right\"\n    >\n    <div class=\"container wp-block-banner__container\">\n        <div class=\"edwp-component edwp-fade-in wp-block-banner__content\">\n            <h2 class=\"wp-component-heading wp-component-content__title text--h1\">\n    The challenge<\/h2>                <div class=\"wp-component-content__content wp-component-content__content--cols-1 wysiwyg\">\n                            <div class=\"wp-component-content__column\">\n                    <p>The Nordic small business banking market has become increasingly competitive, with digital-first challengers reshaping customer expectations around speed, simplicity and pricing. At the same time, regulatory requirements and internal complexity have made it harder for incumbent banks to adapt at pace.<\/p>\n<p>Our client, one of the largest banking groups in the region, had been steadily losing market share in the SMB segment. A new strategic ambition was set: return to sustainable growth and regain share within five years. Delivering this required a fundamental shift in how the commercial engine operated.<\/p>\n<p>A commercial maturity assessment revealed structural gaps across acquisition, onboarding, retention and data usage. Advisors were spending the majority of their time on administration and compliance-related tasks, with limited capacity for proactive sales.<\/p>\n<p>Customer portfolios were broad and undifferentiated, value propositions were unclear, and growth efforts relied heavily on individual initiative rather than systematic, data-driven programs.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, onboarding processes were lengthy and resource intensive. The core challenge was clear: accelerate growth and improve productivity without increasing frontline headcount or compromising on risk and compliance.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                    <\/div>            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section\n    class=\"wp-block-banner edwp-block layout--none bg--secondary wp-block-banner--content-right\"\n    >\n    <div class=\"container wp-block-banner__container\">\n        <div class=\"edwp-component edwp-fade-in wp-block-banner__content\">\n            <h2 class=\"wp-component-heading wp-component-content__title text--h1\">\n    The approach<\/h2>                <div class=\"wp-component-content__content wp-component-content__content--cols-1 wysiwyg\">\n                            <div class=\"wp-component-content__column\">\n                    <p>Working closely with the executive team and commercial leadership, we designed a new commercial operating model tailored specifically to the segment.<\/p>\n<p>The transformation covered the full customer journey: acquisition, onboarding, retention and cross-sell. We introduced a new segmentation model, significantly scaled digital marketing and paid media, and repositioned the website as a virtual sales engine.<\/p>\n<p>Onboarding processes were redesigned end-to-end, combining new technology with streamlined internal workflows. In parallel, we implemented data-driven activation flows and defined four coordinated transformation tracks to ensure structured execution across markets.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                    <\/div>            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section\n    class=\"wp-block-banner edwp-block layout--spacing-y bg--secondary wp-block-banner--content-right\"\n    >\n    <div class=\"container wp-block-banner__container\">\n        <div class=\"edwp-component edwp-fade-in wp-block-banner__content\">\n            <h2 class=\"wp-component-heading wp-component-content__title text--h1\">\n    The impact<\/h2>                <div class=\"wp-component-content__content wp-component-content__content--cols-1 wysiwyg\">\n                            <div class=\"wp-component-content__column\">\n                    <p>The impact was both rapid and tangible.<\/p>\n<p>The bank moved from net customer losses to gaining more than 700 net new customers per month. Onboarding time was reduced from over 30 days to as little as two days in implemented markets, unlocking significant capacity without increasing risk.
