Ever since Elixirr was formed, we have taken on our clients’ toughest business challenges. 2020 undoubtedly posed the biggest disruption many businesses had experienced to date, but through the resilience of our team, and trusted relationships with clients we have reached some incredible milestones – achieving stellar results.

Our 2020 Highlights

2020 was an exceptional year for Elixirr. As well as the milestone of our IPO, we continued our all-important work with new and existing clients and grew the business – with progression across all four pillars of our growth strategy.

Our Performance

Despite the challenging environment which 2020 presented, the business performed exceptionally well, and its first set of full-year financial results are ahead of the market expectations set at the time of the Group’s IPO in July 2020.

Case Study: Digital Onboarding

When our client, Apex, commissioned us to reconstruct their onboarding portal, we delivered a digital transformation initiative which wholly redefined both their user journey and internal processes… The success of this project was recognised by the 2020 Drum B2B Awards, and we were delighted to be awarded ‘Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year’ for our work.

A key to Elixirr’s continual success has been the quality of our teams across the globe. We aim to attract, retain and develop the very best talent, to ensure the quality bar of the firm is continually raised. In 2020 we continued to invest in our employees, working with them to achieve their ambitions and to grow within the firm. Our IPO reinforced the ownership mentality and culture that has existed since forming, rewarding Partners for Elixirr’s long-term success, along with giving team members the ability to be an owner by earning options. This has strengthened the resolve of the team to continually raise the bar for our clients.

Our new partners

“Growing our own timber” is an important part of our organic growth strategy, with many of Elixirr’s longstanding client-facing Partners having worked in junior grades before making Partner. One of our experienced Principals was promoted to the Partner team in 2020, and we continue to focus on developing the grade, with targets tailored to prepare them for operating at Partner level. A further Principal was promoted to Partner effective January 2021.

External hires with existing networks and industry expertise remained a key focus in 2020 and continues to be into 2021. We hired two new Partners in 2020 who brought invaluable experience in the financial services sector and in senior Finance roles respectively, and recently welcomed three new Partners in the US, bringing a wealth of consulting and industry expertise to the team.

Elixirr Foundation

Empowering in a way that lasts

The Elixirr Foundation seeks to enrich the quality of life of the communities we operate in by giving our time, money and services. We strive to empower, not just donate.

In 2020, away from our usual business operations, our team stayed connected through our week-long charity Stravathon. The virtual event raised over £6,000 for our fantastic partner charities: Rays of Hope and The Pace Centre. We also offered pro-bono consulting advice to businesses through a series of workshops during lockdown, addressing the business processes most affected by the pandemic.
