This is the amazing story of National Aviation Hall of Famer, Dale Klapmeier, co-Founder of Cirrus Aircraft. In this episode, Stephen uncovers the story of how Dale went from restoring aeroplanes as a kid in a barn to building the globally recognised leader in general aviation.
Together with his brother, Alan Klapmeier, Dale founded Cirrus, a company that has completely revolutionised the general aviation industry. Because of their advanced avionics, innovative design and tireless passion for improving safety in aviation, Dale and Alan are regularly referred to as the modern day Wright brothers.
In this episode, we follow Dale’s journey as Stephen flies him from Duluth, Minnesota to Baraboo, Wisconsin, where Cirrus began.
