We’re delighted to announce that Nick Willott has joined the team as Partner, Finance Director and Company Secretary. With our ambitious growth plans in full swing, Nick brings his valuable skills and expertise to Elixirr. With some exciting plans for the business in the near future, his appointment couldn’t have come at a better time.

With extensive experience in finance in a FTSE 250 company plus experience in corporate finance, M&A, restructuring and turnarounds, audit and accountancy, Nick has spent his career in senior finance roles. Most recently, he was the Finance Director at Thomas Cook Money. During this time, he facilitated the build of an independent B2B insurance business that trades profitably today, launched multiple new digital products and had P&L responsibility for £1bn of sales.

Prior to this, Nick held other senior finance roles at Thomas Cook Group. These included UK Finance Director for FP&A, Costs and Finance Transformation in a £2bn revenue business, and Finance Director roles leading the Group’s global cost out program and the Group’s global M&A program.

Other roles have included M&A Advisory Director at Deloitte and Associate Director at a restructuring and private equity firm, both in Sydney, Australia, plus a secondment with Deloitte in San Francisco, California.

Nick’s broad financial experience will perfectly complement our plans for the coming years, helping us to achieve our organic and inorganic growth strategies, optimising our financials, and advising on financial plans. His knowledge of UK, US and Australian markets will supercharge our global expansion and drive our success in these territories.

On his appointment, Nick said:

It’s really exciting to be joining such a unique, ambitious and fast-growing firm. Having spent the last few years creating a Challenger Bank, I’m really looking forward to now being part of the Challenger Consultancy. With Elixirr’s growth plans in progress, this is clearly a very exciting time for the firm, and I can’t wait to see how I can contribute to our success over the coming years.

Stephen Newton, Founder & CEO at Elixirr, said:

I’m really excited to have Nick as part of the team. His success in previous roles exemplifies his #MSH attitude, making him a great fit for Elixirr. With experience leading and advising finance functions in organisations across UK, America and Australia, Nick brings invaluable expertise to the team. I’m looking forward to seeing how he will help us to drive our business and exceed our growth plans. Welcome Nick!
