Starting off 2020 with great momentum, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Daniel Lemcke to our Partner team, effective 1st May 2020.

He joined us in 2014 as a Manager, and has been a key leader on many of our financial services projects across South Africa, America and Europe. Daniel has led a wide variety of impactful work with our investment banking, capital markets, and wealth and asset management clients across strategy, transactions support (M&A), risk management and financial analysis. As an Elixirr Partner, as well as continuing to advise our South African clients, Daniel will be turning his focus to growing our Australian practice.

Since joining our team, Daniel has held a number of high profile treasury strategy positions with incumbent banks across the UK, Europe and South Africa. He works closely with our clients to incorporate the trends of our global fintech ecosystem into their strategic roadmaps, enabling them to drive business growth.

Speaking about his appointment, Daniel said:

Having joined Elixirr over 5 years ago, I’ve seen the incredible growth story that has taken the business to where we are today. I feel extremely proud to join the Partner team to help further our growth. As a firm of entrepreneurs, we’ve got big ambition! Making real change happen in business has always been what drives me – and the whole Elixirr team live and breathe this. Every single person here is building a business, not just working for one – I’m looking forward to what we’ll achieve together!

Stephen Newton, Elixirr’s Founder & CEO commented:

I’m delighted to welcome Daniel to our Partner team. He’s a shining example of someone who has really grabbed the opportunities available at Elixirr, and has always displayed the attitude, entrepreneurial spirit and resilience I look for in my Partners. That he joined us only 5 years ago as a Manager and is now a Partner makes this news even more special to me – ‘growing our own timber’ is a very important part of our vision to be the best consulting firm in the world. 2020 is set to be a great year for us, and we’re very excited about it!

Daniel’s appointment follows a number of strategic appointments toward the end of 2019 in support of our ambitious growth plans. We welcomed two new Partners, alongside the former CEO of BT, Gavin Patterson, who joined as our Chairman. As we celebrate Elixirr’s first decade in business, we’re looking forward to a very exciting 2020!

Congratulations Daniel!
