Since its inception in 2009, Elixirr has gone from strength to strength, building a solid reputation across multiple sectors. This success has been recently recognised by the Financial Times, who named Elixirr one of the UK’s leading management consultants and by Consulting magazine as one of the fastest-growing firms in the US 2018. To complement and continue this level of achievement, Elixirr are proud to announce a new member of their existing 15-strong team. Karina van den Oever will join the partner team as of 1 May 2019, after being with the firm since 2015.
Having joined as a principal, Karina excelled in her role and delivered strong commercial results for Elixirr’s clients across retail, luxury, consumer goods and financial services. She focuses on strategy and innovation and change, including helping our clients connect to the startup community. Over the past 4 years she has generated a client base which has breadth and depth, alongside leading several successful strategic engagements, including Selfridges, LVMH, Farfetch, Mondelez and Thomas Cook Money. Before joining Elixirr, Karina worked at management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, had her own startup and worked in industry in commercial and operational line roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, Calvin Klein and Ann Taylor.
“I’m thrilled to join the Elixirr partner team and continue the great work that we’ve already achieved, helping our clients across industries build their businesses, and make change happen at pace. Making partner at Elixirr is not a promotion – actually, you get your P45! You’re going into partnership with each other as we’re a firm of entrepreneurs, building and running our own business together. It’s a very proud moment for me and I’m looking forward to the future.”
Stephen Newton, Founder and Managing Partner of Elixirr said:
“It’s always a very proud and humbling moment for me to announce new members of the Elixirr partner team, ‘Growing our own timber’ and promoting from within has always been very important to us. That’s why Karina joining the partner team is all the more special. I’m very much looking forward to what we’ll achieve together as a team.”
