We’re delighted to announce that we have expanded our financial services offering with the appointment of two new Associate Partners, Julian Gladwin and Simon Lake. Both are well-respected industry professionals who bring complementary skills to our wholesale banking practice.
Julian joins from CLS, the operator of the global FX settlement risk mitigation system, where he was a Director of Relationship Management for the past five and a half years. He was previously at Standard Chartered based in Dubai. There, he set up a financial institutions business and managed relationships with sovereign wealth funds, banks, and asset managers. Julian also spent a decade with Northern Trust in London and Singapore where he served as a regional manager in Network Management for EMEA and APAC. His specialisms include FX risk mitigation, strategy development, regulatory awareness and financial market products. Julian will provide practical liquidity and risk advice to our expanding network of clients.
Julian Gladwin says,
“Elixirr’s strong foothold and ambition in the financial services industry is one of many reasons I decided to join. The firm is doing some great things, helping companies respond to market forces that are redefining how they operate and organise themselves. I am extremely excited to be a part of this and have the opportunity to contribute to this amazing story.”
Simon will be focused on supporting our clients with strategic vendor management and outsourcing advice. He was previously the Head of Vendor Management and Strategic Relationships at CLS for nine years where he advised on everything from application development to facilities management to infrastructure provision. Before CLS, Simon worked at Capgemini, Barclays and Coopers & Lybrand. His career started at the Bank of England.
Simon Lake says,
“The offer to join Elixirr in this capacity was one I could not pass up. The team is outstanding and I was sold on the opportunity as soon as I heard their vision, not only in the consulting space but beyond. The firm is on a very stable footing to exceed its own expectations.”
Barry Lewis, Partner, says,
“I have known both Julian and Simon for many years having worked with and alongside them at various banks. Both bring invaluable skills, expertise and networks that will help to bolster Elixirr’s ability to advise existing and prospective clients. I could not think of two more suitable or qualified people to join the firm at such a pivotal moment in our evolution. I have full faith that they will both be excellent additions to the team and provide exceptional value to our clients in their respective fields.”
Welcome Simon and Julian! Here’s to going from strength to strength…
